June 1990:
The Volkshochschule (VHS) Gilching asked me to run a Further Education Course - 2 weeks on the Greek Islands of Lesbos and Chios “Learning to See Photographically”. Lots of good motifs, food, wine and fun with 12 super people who still keep in touch. Later, we had an exhibition of the participants work. This was followed by a series of winter workshops devoted to black and white photography, and included instruction on the Ansel Adams Zone System, and Darkroom work.

November 1995:
Another Hasselblad Workshop, this time in Nymphenburg Munich. This was well supported (15 participants) and - like the Hamburg workshop - it included practical work with Adams ’s Zone System, film developing and printing. The theme was “Fine Art Photography”, and I concentrated on archival processing methods and presentation. I repeated these workshops several times, but with the rise of digital imaging, interest in Fine Art Printing has waned...
